Grayson headlines sponsor for NHBC’s BEYOND ’25 LIVE bricklaying competition
The competition served as the centerpiece of NHBC’s flagship event, showcasing the skills and expertise of apprentice bricklayers in a live, high-stakes environment.
Leading construction consumables supplier, Grayson, was the headline sponsor of the highly anticipated bricklaying competition at the NHBC BEYOND ‘25 LIVE event, which took place on Thursday 20th March 2025 at the Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena.
As a major highlight of BEYOND ‘25 LIVE, the competition saw apprentices competing to demonstrate their precision, craftsmanship and technical ability in real time. Helping to bring the vision of the NHBC’s skills area to life, Grayson generously supplied a comprehensive range of essential materials and high-quality equipment for the competition, including spots and stands, mortar tubs, wheelbarrows, wall ties, DPCs, cavity trays, frame cramps, head restraints and ladder reinforcement.
The event, formerly known as Building for Tomorrow, has evolved into a comprehensive, future-focussed conference designed to address the dynamic challenges facing the housebuilding industry, providing a platform to inspire the next generation of construction professionals.
Broadcaster, journalist and author, Louise Minchin, was the event’s host, guiding over 1,200 delegates through a series of insightful discussions and entrepreneur, Deborah Meaden, also took to the stage for a keynote fireside chat, delving into crucial industry topics such as sustainability, innovation, leadership as well as women in construction.
