30 ultra-energy efficient affordable homes completed in Somerset

Leading affordable housing provider, Stonewater, has completed 30 ultra-energy efficient homes in Somerset that will help customers live more comfortably for less. The homes in South Petherton have been delivered under the second phase of development and built to Passivhaus standard – a set of principles to create properties that use less energy for heating while maintaining comfort. They feature enhanced insulation, airtight construction, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) systems and roof-mounted solar PV panels, helping reduce heat loss and lower energy consumption.
