Squire & Partners submits plan for Pentonville Road site

Plans for a new office-led scheme between Pentonville Road and King’s Cross Road have been submitted by Squire and Partners
The scheme close to London’s King’s Cross station also includes ground floor shops, a café and flats and aims to open up the dual aspect site, fitting around an existing Grade II-listed chapel and a collection of late Victorian and Edwardian buildings.
The 3,890m² proposals feature a new public courtyard space which ’mediates between the low scale of proposed development on the King’s Cross Road, and the taller building facing Pentonville Road’.
The scheme is expected to be considered by Islington Borough Council’s planning committee in September.
