Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland wins Large Housebuilder of the Year at prestigious awards

Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland has been named Large Housebuilder of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Home Awards.

The annual event spotlights excellence in building homes that combine outstanding quality and design, whilst serving the needs of communities, and is Scotland’s largest independent awards for the housebuilding industry. The accolade recognises Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ contribution to sustainability, community and its dedication to delivering high-quality homes, including affordable housing, across the West of Scotland.

The 2025 Scottish Housing Awards received over 140 entries across 19 categories, judged by a panel of industry experts.

Throughout the year, Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland has continued to prioritise its customers, whilst supporting community initiatives, charities and its employees across a catchment area that ranges from Ayrshire to Stirling

In 2025, the housebuilder raised almost £500,000 for local charities including Launch Foods and Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and provided regular monthly contributions of at least £1,500 to community-based initiatives.
