NFRC (National Federation of Roofing Contractors) has announced that entries can now be submitted for projects completed between 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025. The award ceremony will be held on 24 October at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow. Entries can be submitted via the dedicated awards platform.
Projects can be entered in any of the following categories, with an additional individual category for the Ronnie Forsyth Young Roofer of the Year Award.

Companies can enter multiple projects, but can only submit a project into one category, not across multiple categories. NFRC also encourages Manufacturers, Architects, and Suppliers to enter, providing the roofing contractor is a member of NFRC (or one of the other trade associations listed here) and their consent is obtained. Awards are given to the roofing contractor.
A range of criteria is taken into consideration by the judging panel, including the degree of difficulty, aesthetics, problem-solving, health and safety, workmanship and environmental qualities.
Guests attending the awards will enjoy a drinks reception, three-course meal, and entertainment by guest host Tam Cowan. Tickets for the luncheon are available now and can be purchased by emailing Ian Letham.
Scott Miller, NFRC Scotland Chair and NFRC Board member, said: “This is a highly regarded event in the Scottish roofing calendar and is a fantastic opportunity for Scottish members to put forward their best work. I’m proud that, along with the wider NFRC community, we’re able to champion recognition for the trade and put the spotlight on roofing.
“The awards luncheon is always well attended by trade members, manufacturers, suppliers, and roofing enthusiasts, and I am thoroughly looking forward to this year’s event and the chance to catch up with peers. Best of luck to all who enter.”
NFRC is the UK’s largest trade association for the roofing industry, with over 1,200 Members, representing the entire roofing supply chain from contractors to merchants to manufacturers.
