Bristan’s Specification division is delighted to announce the 2018 winners of its annual ‘Spec of the Year’ internal initiative.

Launched in 2014, this scheme is designed to reward the efforts of Bristan Specification team members who have worked tirelessly to win project contracts, and go above and beyond by providing excellent service to customers. Each quarter, a number of finalists are selected by the company’s chosen panel, which then decides on an overall category winner.

After much deliberation, the winning title was impossible to place, and Jamie Harris and Debra Earll were chosen as joint winners due to their continual hard work and dedication, resulting in many high-profile business wins.

Last year saw Debra secure a substantial contract with United Living to provide solutions for a series of building projects across the UK.

An equally impressive project secured by Jamie saw the specification of Bristan’s H64 single control wall mounted basin mixer in Royal Hants Hospital, Southampton. This was thanks to the tap’s unrivalled infection control capability, quality, and functionality – with ease of maintenance and service features providing the ideal solution for the healthcare facility.

Craig Rendall, specification sales director at Bristan, comments: “While it was certainly a tough decision, with all of our specification team demonstrating a remarkable work ethic, Jamie and Debra stood out from the very beginning.
