More than half of the homes at a five-star development have now been sold in the Midlands’ best place to live, less than a year after it first opened to the public.

The Hamlet in Leigh Sinton, delivered by Worcester-based homebuilder Lioncourt Homes, launched in November 2025 and has seen strong demand ever since, with buyers drawn to the picturesque and peaceful setting of the Malvern Hills, which the Sunday Times named as the region’s best place to live earlier this year.

The national newspaper praised the area for its majestic landscape and elegant towns and villages, which Lioncourt Homes has complemented with the introduction of 52 two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, and a show home that draws inspiration directly from its surroundings.

First homes were moved into in the spring of this year, with each property built to the exceptional standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail that has earned Lioncourt Homes a five-star customer satisfaction rating from the Home Builders’ Federation for 12 consecutive years.

Throughout The Hamlet’s lifecycle, the homebuilder is contributing more than £350,000 in Section 106 funding to support education, transport, healthcare, play areas and green spaces nearby, while 15 of the homes are being delivered through social rent or Shared Ownership.

Jack Jones, Head of Sales and Marketing at Lioncourt Homes, said: “It only feels like yesterday that we were opening the doors to The Hamlet for the very first time, so to have passed the halfway sold milestone already is a fantastic achievement.

“As a business, it reinforces the strength of the homes that we offer, but also just how sought-after Leigh Sinton and the areas around the Malvern Hills are. Buyers are often telling us that they love the countryside setting and community feel. Being close to Worcester, Malvern and Ledbury means they don’t have to sacrifice on convenience.

“We’re proud of the homes we’re delivering at The Hamlet. It’s been a pleasure to see the first residents moving in and making the space their own. For those still thinking about a move, I’d suggest now is a great time to visit before the remaining properties are snapped up.”

Prospective buyers can tour the four-bedroom show home, The Damson, designed in collaboration with interior specialists Interior Allure to capture the character of the Malvern Hills.

Earthy, autumnal tones of rich amber, ochre, and brown bring warmth to each room, while rustic, chic touches such as dado picture rails, colour-drenched walls, an antique mirror and a bespoke drinks cabinet create a home that blends with its surroundings and still suits the needs of modern buyers.

Steph Clibbery, Director at Interior Allure, said: “With The Damson, it was important to capture the feeling of the Malvern Hills: walking, fresh air, trees, and nature. Everything has been designed to foster a sense of belonging and comfort, while creating that aspirational ‘this is what home can be!’ feeling.

“Lioncourt Homes is known for its build quality. It has a great, dedicated team to work alongside and we’re proud to have contributed towards such a well-designed space.”

Positioned between Worcester, Malvern and Ledbury, while just off the A4103, The Hamlet offers easy access to the M5 and A44, making it well-suited for commuting to Birmingham, Gloucester, Hereford and Cheltenham.

Families are served by nearby schools including Leigh and Bransford Primary School, Dyson Perrins C of E Academy and The Chase School in Malvern, the latter being for secondary and sixth form students.

While the Malvern Hills are on its doorstep, The Hamlet is not too far from the Shropshire Hills and the Cotswolds National Landscapes.
